In 2018, after purchasing a home in Bucharest for his family, the founder's then-wife moved there with their three children — and moved her boyfriend into the house. What followed was a multi-year international child abduction case filed with the Hague Convention and the US State Department.
He won. The court ordered the children returned. But enforcement in Romania is complicated — and to this day, the fight continues.
